Club Camp was held May 23-25, Friday was primarily a Meet & Greet event at the Pembina Provincial Park campground.  Cptn. Bob did an exploratory run down the Lobstick from the bridge just west of Evansburg back to campsite with the evaluation that while the Pembina was high, the Lobstick was low hence boney.

It was decided that with the Pembina running high the usual trip from the Tube launch site would be too short and many features would be wiped out so we would do the run from Reno Road put-in.

This is billed as a 12 hour tube run, it turned out to be a 7 hour paddle including an hour of breaks. There was a variety of water challenges and opportunities to test your water reading, route planning and paddling skills.

Eric did a great job capturing the trip and terrain in his Stumpy Paddler video on You-tube.

As it was a vigorous first paddle for some and a long day, our evening was spent leisurely around the campfire and Sunday would be a more subdued paddle at Devil's Lake.
