It can easily cost between $1000 and $2000 to purchase your own boat, pfd, paddles, flotation and other equipment. Renting from the club can save considerable expense and allow you to concentrate on acquiring personal gear such as wet suits, wet boots, roof racks, ropes, etc. Renting also provides you with the opportunity to try a variety of boats before you decide on one to purchase.
Our rental rates are low compared to normal commercial rates.
Courses have first priority on boats and equipment. Bookings must be made by Wednesday evening before the rental and returned by the following Wednesday.

All club equipment is only available to club members for Club, Paddle Alberta, Paddle Canada, or Alberta Whitewater Association activities. Club members CANNOT use boats for personal trips or allow non-club members aboard for liability reasons.
Club boats and equipment are available for free for courses. If the training location is not Confederation Pool or Rundle Paddling Centre you may have to arrange transportation for boats to and from the training site.
